On my mama’s prayers i float,
like a fly in a coat,
the world is too big of a cost,
moving from coast to coast.

I hear her sing in my ear,
whenever i want her near.
Because heaven only knows,
what i’d give to see her now.

On my mama’s chest I cry,
when happiness is a lie.
Learning again to smile,
preparing for the extra mile.

I watched her waving me away
and it still makes my day.
She knows the right things to say,
to send me on my merry way.
